Hi,
I have an excelfile that is updated on a montly basis per last day of month automatically from the ERP-System containing the stock value per that instance.
This file is overwrited every month with a new file from the ERP system. (So the figures from 2024-12-31 is overwrited with new data per 2025-01-31).
I want to find a way to extract and store the data from 2024-12-31 before it is overwrited and then put together a file where I have accumulated data with date as a coulmn (see below example) Primarly, I want to handle this within PBI Desktop is possible.
Article Pcs Date
1 10 2024-12-31
2 5 2024-12-31
1 8 2025-01-31
2 7 2025-01-31

Hi @Anonymous ,
You can try to ensure that the monthly files are backed up through Power Automate, or if Power Automate is not available, you will need to manually back up the monthly files and update the historical data source.

Hi
That is what I do today but its requires a manual action (copy from the ERP-File to the folder) which I want to avoid.
