Hi,
I have two tables Comments and Status as per below:
I have two visualizations as per below
Table A is filtered on Status to show only Status = Maintenance via filter pane.
When I select a row in Table A, I want all rows corresponding to selected Part in Table A appear in Table B regardless of the Status.
So, when I select any row with Part A then all 5 rows with part A appear in Table B.
Currently, only the same row appears.
Thanks
Hi @Anonymous ,
As @Ashish_Mathur suggested, please create a new table with Part column for slicer:
Slicer for Part = VALUES(Comments[Part])
Then create a flag measure for Table B visual, apply it to visual-filter pane, set as "is 1":
Flag = IF(MAX('Comments'[Part]) in ALLSELECTED('Slicer for Part'[Part]),1,0)
Since It needs to be cross-filtering between the tables. I think this method is more effective than directly selecting an item in Table A.
Best Regards,
Eyelyn Qin

Hi @Anonymous ,
Thanks for your solution.
Why cross filtering is preferred is there is also a PowerApp visual on the same page, where users can leave their comments. It is intended that when a user picks a part from the Table A, that part automatically gets populated to the PowerApp form (it does it currently) and appears in the Table B with all available statuses.
I understand that a slicer selection will not populate the PowerApp form.
Thanks
Hi,
Create a slicer of Part Number.
