I wanted to visualise survey responses that has multiple questions along with multiple selections allowed options.
For the question -
My data is spread in the base sheet in the following way -
There are multiple questions & multiple options.
When I unpivot all the answers for 1 user, the total rows generated are 14,440. Considering >10K users, data wil be too much for PowerBi to handle.
Currently, I have created individual tables for each question linked by a base sheet that has employee details (an opposite of star schema).
With this, when I select any columns of base sheet via filters, the visualtions below are updated
But when I click on one aspect of visualisation, say "Mobile" in
"technology", the other visualisations are not filtered as there is no relation. Can you please suggest a suitable work around to model the data so that I can see trends within this one question (Example Within technlogy Mobile vs Fixed) & between questions (Example - on click of mobile, I know these users use which Apps). Looking forward to a solution.
