Hi,
I get the message in the heading when I have created a datasource using a stored procedure without parameters (basically just a SELECT .. FROM routine) and using Direct Query. Works fine in the Power Query editor but I get the error message when I try to apply the source to the Power BI desktop. Why? As I said, no parameters, I've been told stored procedures should work with Direct Query then...
Regards,
John Martin
FYI for those interested:
Found a way out of this: Since the SP did'nt have any input parameters, I created a view instead to deliver the requested data. Works fine in combination with Direct Query.
