Hi all,
I have faced a tricky question and it would be wondeful to find a soloution here.
I am trying to creat a Query to merge numbe of excel files. The problem is the worksheets from the files in each column has a different name. I am sensing there should be a way to merge them but couldn't find any advice so far.
If you have any idea, please share!
Key point is I do not want to edit them on excel and import to PBI. I'd like them to be edited on PBI!
Thank you in advacne!
Hi @tubemap,
If these excel files has similar table structure, you can try to use folder connector to get multiple files at same time and merge them at same time.
Combine files in a folder with Combine Binaries (Power Query)
If these files has different structure and you only want to extract part of columns from files, please share some sample data with a pbix file and expect result snapshot to help us test and clarify your requirement.

Xiaoxin Sheng
