Hello everyone,
I am using an excel data source for power BI and some cells are merged, when i import it to Power BI, the cells get unmerged and the value null is given. So how can i merge cells in Power BI?
Thanks in advance,
Hi @Anonymous ,
You can import the data into power bi and merge it through power query.
Create some data:
1. Enter power query through transform data.
2. Select the column you want to merge, right-click the mouse, and select Merge Columns.
3. Result.
Best Regards,
Liu Yang

@Anonymous
we can't merge cells in powerbi. Usually we don't suggest to have merged cells in Excel data source, you need to unmerge those cells and restructure the raw data.
The merged cells will generate some null values columns in powerbi, you can also try to delete those columns as well.
