Merge not Finding Matches

I am trying to merge values from one table to the next, the main table has unique values. When I do the merge I continue to get null values on some rows but not others, even though the data is there. Any suggestions?

Could be due to non-printable characters or blanks. Clean and trim your key columns before the merge  (Text.Trim and Text.Clean):

Strange, you did that on both columns (in both tables)?

Then you need to analyze the difference:

• Text.ToList will create a list from both strings
• if lenghts are both the same, compare each x-th element to find the difference
