Merge issues

Hello folks!

How could I fix this issue? Both sources come from the server into a data flow. So my source on desktop come from a data flow.

My query breaks after the merge. Both columns should match as they have exactly the same values.

Thanks in advance! R,

Hi @RenataOG30s ,

Please review the solution in the following threads which have the similar problem with yours and check whether they can help you resolve the problem.

[Solved] Power BI Dataset Refresh Error – The key didn’t match any rows in the table

Solution

1. Refresh the dataflow
2. Create a report using only dataflow
3. Again, new report with only SQL server table without dataflow. All the steps are worked well.
4. Checked the gateway connections.

Finally, re-enter the datasource credentials again. This fixed the issue.

Power BI: The key didn’t match any rows in the table

Solution:

In the same Navigation screen, selecting my new Table name “report” will fix the issue assuming all other columns in the Excel file are the same.

Same is true for any data source, not only Excel file. Follow same steps to identify what’s causing the error and then fix it as needed.

If the above ones can't help you, please provide the applied codes in the current query and sample data in the query "DV_Transactions_For_Facts" in order to make troubleshooting. Thank you.
