Merge data files

Hello guys!

I think I have a very simple question, but I haven't found anything on the web.

I'm doing a sales project on the power bi desktop with some JSON files. The amount of information in the files is enormous and is always being updated. I have a file with sales reports for the entire year 2021 and 2022 until June, when I update the sales data, it generates another JSON file with the same name and only the "new" information (which was not in this previous report). In other words, the old file is replaced by the new one only with what was added after the last report.

My question is, is there a way to merge these two files automatically? Like, just put the information that wasn't in the report yet?

Sorry if I wrote something wrong or if it is hard to understand the question, I'm not a native English speaker.

You can store both files (and all future JSON files) in the same folder (local drive is ok, but better if a shared location like SharePoint, etc.). You can then use the Folder or SharePoint Folder connector to combine all the files in it. Use the Combine & Edit functionality of Power BI and it will allow you to transform your data (e.g., parse the JSON) in a "sample file" and then it will automatically apply the same steps to each file (and then append the resulting tables into one.
