Hello,
I am trying to merge two datasets and have it a wall with matching like values, even though I do have matching values in the referenced table.
Purpose: Perfrom a left outer Join Kind with the following tables:
The first table is live flight data, with respective IATA Codes (41 total flights from the numerous departing airports). the second is a cummulative list of International Airport IATA codes (700+ Airports) and matching weather APIs. I know for a fact that there is a matching IATA code for each, BI is not recognizing it when I run a merge:
not matching columns
I just need help adding this API column to the first table given a matching IATA. any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

Make sure you do a Trim and Clean on the columns of both tables before Merging. Often there can be trailing spaces and such that cause issues.
Although not the issue here, perhaps it's worth reminding Power Query join are case-sensitive, while DAX joins are case-insensitive.
