Merge Queries is grayed out

Hello,

I first tried a merge of columns, but I noticed I was not in the right direction. So I canceled the merge.

I try to Merge in the reverse order, but now the Merge Queries - "Fusionner des requêtes" in French - button in the Transform ribbon is grayed out.

What did I miss?

When trying to Merge columns, did you have the columns that you want to merge highlighted?  Sounds simple, but I missed that one when looking at this issue for you.
