Measure that replaces value based on another column's value

I have table of meetings and points for each type of a meeting.
I need to replace values for meetings if value is 1 and based on a type of a meeting.
If value is different than 1, it should return that value.
I tried to build a measure:

Points =
IF ('Meetings'[type] = "Training" && MAX(Meetings[Points]) = 1; 3;
     IF ('Meetings'[type] = "New" && MAX(Meetings[Points]) = 1; 5;
        IF ('Meetings'[type] = "Tech" && MAX(Meetings[Points]) = 1; 6;
Meetings[Points])))

I got error message:

A single value for column 'Points' in table 'Meetings' cannot be determined. This can happen when a measure formula refers to a column that contains many values without specifying an aggregation such as min, max, count, or sum to get a single result.

I then tried to filter the result

Points =
FILTER(Meetings;
IF ('Meetings'[type] = "Training" && MAX(Meetings[Points]) = 1; 3;
     IF ('Meetings'[type] = "New" && MAX(Meetings[Points]) = 1; 5;
        IF ('Meetings'[type] = "Tech" && MAX(Meetings[Points]) = 1; 6;
Meetings[Points])))
)

and get an error:

The expression refers to multiple columns. Multiple columns cannot be converted to a scalar value.

 Any help would be highly appreaciated

@CAPSTALKER are you adding new measure or column, it has to be a column

@CAPSTALKER add following expression as a column

Points =
SWITCH( TRUE(),
'Meetings'[type] = "Training" && Meetings[Points] = 1; 3;
'Meetings'[type] = "New" && Meetings[Points] = 1; 5;
'Meetings'[type] = "Tech" && Meetings[Points] = 1; 6;
Meetings[Points]
)
