Hi,
Is it possible to have a measure to take the difference of the two parameters in a visual?
I have sales measures for each year going back as far as 5 years. I'm planning on put two parameters into a matrix or table so the end user can select the two years of sales they want to compare. Is it possible to have a measure to just take the difference of the two parameters without have to build out the measures separately and doing something like Switch depending on selection?
hi @loafers
seems yes, just try it.
e.g.
Diff =
CALCULATE([measure], data[year]=SELECTEDVALUE(parameter1[parameter1]))
-
CALCULATE([measure], data[year]=SELECTEDVALUE(parameter2[parameter2]))
