This should be easy to figure out, but somehow I'm blanking on this.
I have data on vehicle recalls, and I'm looking to find what vehicle make had the most recalls based on my selection of model. So, I'm trying to count the number of recalls, and then be able to return the model name based on the make selected in the slicer. Is there a clean way of doing this with DAX?
I am using this to get the number for the maximum number of recalls for a model - I just need it to return the name:
@Anonymous , You should try TOPN
TOP 1 = CALCULATE([# OF RECALLS], TOPN(1,ALLSELECTED('database (3)'[Vehicle Model]), [# OF RECALLS,DESC]), values('database (3)'[Vehicle Model]))
Plot with 'database (3)'[Vehicle Model]
or
TOP 1 = CALCULATE(max(('database (3)'[Vehicle Model]), TOPN(1,ALLSELECTED('database (3)'[Vehicle Model]), [# OF RECALLS,DESC]), values('database (3)'[Vehicle Model]))
