Hi all,
I do not know if this is possible, but can i calculate the max of a measure, over a given time period (like a month), with no calculated column?
What i have is data in columns that are summed up using a measure only. I am trying to be concious of my report's memory usage.

Hi, @Anonymous
Measure is calculated based on columns, and does not have actual values. You said you want to calculate the max of measure. In fact, what you are calculating is not the max of a measure, you are calculating the maximum results of the measure based on the referenced columns.
I am not sure if I understand you correctly. If you want to create a table using measures only, it is possible. But it is case by case, you might need to consider the differences between Calculate Columns and Measures.
If you have more questions please leave a message.
Best, Regards,
Paul Zheng

The trick, as i see it, is to find a way to generate a in-memory table using the measure itself so that the max function can reference a column?
