Good Morning,
What is the best practice of handling a Matrix containing a huge number of blanks ? The one which I am dealing with contains a large number of Columns, and a far larger number of Rows.

Have you tried to showcase it based only on the rows giving the results of the total and then have a visual to the side that would be showing the codes something similar to this:
This is a very small sample but has you can see when I selecte a value on the bar chart the table on the left gets filtered to the correct code, another options are to create a drill trough that gives you the details or using a tooltip to show wich ones are included in the values:

Check out my blog: Power BI em PortuguêsThanks. The objective to show insight on the worst performing Codes. There is an extremely large number of codes, and many of them have extremely low figures , so I don't know which ones to even exclude so that's why I wanted to provide complete visibility to their figures.

Check out my blog: Power BI em PortuguêsHi @F_Reh ,
The question on this is that you values for each cell so for the combination of column and row you will have the values presented on the matrix, and since it's a matrix the blank will show up.
Not sure what you want to present on this visualization but you should think about using a different approach that could give you the insights you want but without a lot of blank values.
