Matrix visual - create conditional formatting cell by cell using different thresholds? (like Excel)

Hi,
I have a Matrix visual that I need to conditional format each cell based on individual thresholds but not all cells are to be formatted, like Excel can do. Maybe if I showed you an example screenshot which I have knocked-up in Excel - see below.
MatrixExample.PNG

Each cell has its own conditional formatting thresholds, for example:
R1-C1 = Green >= 90   Amber < 90 & >= 60   Red < 60
R1-C2 = Green >= 80   Amber < 80 & >= 35   Red < 35

R2...R4 has not formatting
R5-C1 = Green >= 70   Amber70 & >= 20   Red < 20

R5-C2 = Green >= 50   Amber50 & >= 20   Red < 20

So as you can see that each cell has its own conditional formatting thresholds, and even some cells do not have any formatting at all.

Having investigated the required myself, before posting on here, I understand the Matrix visual can only apply conditional formatting on a column basis and that each row's cell in a column must abide by the same conditional formatting. Please correct me if I'm wrong?

The Matrix is populated following the typical single measure in the cells being context filtered by Rows and Columns.

With all said, can my requirement be achieved and how? I would even appreciate hacking methods if that's the only way it can be achieved?
Thanks in advance.

Since posting this question, through further investigation I have come to find the 'Advance Card' visual will do as I need.

If others are needing the same requirement then take a look at the visual from the Marketplace - it's good!

Hi @Anonymous ,

From your description, it is correct that the Matrix visual can only apply conditional formatting on a column basis and that each row's cell in a column must abide by the same conditional formatting.

I am afraid that you could not achieve this feature currently, I suggest you submit an idea in ideas forum:
