Hi,
I'd like to ask you for an advice regarding visualisation of data using Matrix.
I have my own calculated Total column I want to use.
But for the data visualisation I have Project Categories as data columns.
I have the amount of hours displayed in every Project Category column. But I want the calculated Total value independent on the Project Categories columns, but if I put it in values, it is in every Project Category for the particular category only which is not what I want.
Thank you in advance!
Hi @Murkow,
From your description, if I understand your requirement correctly that you want to the get this output(this Total is subtotals) below.
If it is the case, currently we can’t get it directly in Power BI. You could post your new idea in here.
For the workaround, you could get the output above by dragging the spacing between hours and Total to narrow to hid the total value. Refer to this pbix file.
If it is not the case, could you share your dummy pbix file which can reproduce the scenario and your desired output, so that we can help further investigate on it? You can upload the pbix file to OneDrive or Dropbox and post the link here. Do mask sensitive data before uploading.)
Best regards,
Cherry
