Matrix table formating

Hi,

I'm working on a horizontal matrix that has months as column headers and measurements as row headers and values.

 JanFebMar...Dec
New Sales...............
Renewals..............

Each row of the table is a measurement. I need to create a hierarchy between measurements, and from what I've managed to investigate this is not possible. So I was wondering if there is a way to play around with the matrix formatting such as I could replicate the illusion of a hierarchy.

Thanks.

Can you mock up what you want to look like in Excel and post that image? All I see above is a bunch of dots, and I am not seeing how that is a hierarchy.

This is how I currently have the matrix set up:

And this is how I want it to look like:

All the rows are measures, so I was wondering if there is a way to align each row header individually?

Thanks.
