Matrix ordering issue

Hi everyone!
I've created a matrix with several numbers, and I've set it to get a descendeing order. But it isn't ordering correctly as you can see in the picture:

Do you have any idea of how can I fix it ?
I have tried to change the ordering parameter, and it only works right with an alphabetical order... but it's not the order that I need.
Thanks!

  • Tony_pim right now seems like it is ordered on another column, what do you have on rows/columns/values on the matrix?

In the header of the column I have a year, where that percentage and the amount, are part of a same year. In the header of each row I have a company.

      there is an example.
So, there's no more columns to be ordered, I've tried with both numbers, and it doesn't get ordered correctly.

  • Tony_pim you can't sort matrix visual, if you have anything on the column, in your case Year is on the column if you remove that, you will be able to sort it by what measure you have on the values.

It seems you're right, but I've read your blog post, and it gave me some ideas of alternative ways for display what I need to.
      Thanks!

    Hi Tony_pim

Which value field do you hope to sort by? Check whether it is of numeric data type (whole number or decimal number). Maybe it looks like returning a number but actually of text data type?

If there is only one value displaying in the column, all value fields could be sorted by.

      Hello!
I've tried that before post my problem, and it doesn't work. The print in the main post is after ordering it exactly as you say. If I don't order it, the positions get order by name, or doesn't get order at all.

I need to order it by TC Part or Prima Directa.

      Nice try!

      Thanks
