Matrix functionality question

Good morning,

I would like to check if Is there a possiblity to build complex report using native matrix visual. By complex, I mean combining Columns and Column Total. Please check screenshot below:

-It's a combination of Value by Date - as well as Summarized Measures which I don't want to break-down by day. Rows would be geography. I heard MS was working on +/- functionality of Matrix where you could combine Columns into 1. 

Also, if this not possible, I'd welcome any suggestions! Thank you!

Yes, the plan for Matrix +/- Collapse/ Expand is started.  You could find this idea in here.

As I know, we could use Drill down in Power BI which is similar with Matrix +/-.
