Matrix formatting question

Is there a way to show the rows in a Matrix even if there is NOT any column data to go with it?  The above matrix is filtered by Year and Month and the rows are the days in the month.  I want this to show ALL days even if there is not a corresponding value for that day.  Also is there a way to make the headers vertical and turned 180 degrees?

Add a 0 to the measures. The headers cannot be rotated at present
