Matrix Visual not populating correctly

Hi Guys,

I am facing the below issue, Please help me.

HemanthV_0-1621869436430.png

HemanthV_1-1621869047247.png

expected output:

HemanthV_0-1621869566150.png

The first visual is a table visual here i am getting data for highest batch number for each_time frame. I have achieved this by using following measure:

Max in group = IF(CALCULATE(MAX(emcodatas[batch]),ALLEXCEPT(emcodatas,emcodatas[time_frame]))=MAX(emcodatas[batch])
,1,0)
Applied this measure in visual level filter and set it to 1. But when i change the visual from table to matrix and set the time_frame in columns field. i am getting only one symbol instead of 7 symbols. When i export the data from matrix visual i am getting 7 symbols in excel, but it is not showing here.

I don't know what's the issue here. I have tried a custom matrix visual, It is working fine. But i wan't the default matrix visual. Please help me!

Thanks in advance.....!!!!

@HemanthV solution attached. I hope it helps. When you use measure in the visual level filter, it doesn't have the context of the batch and that's why it was not working for you. Anyhow, I have made the measure that contains the logic to include only the latest batch and you don't need to do a visual level filter.

Tweak it as per your need.

@HemanthV use Calculation groups to switch between the latest batches or all the batches.

Hi @parry2k ,

Thank you for the solution. My requirement is that by default, all visuals in the page should show latest batch information, The user can reset this and see previous batch data too. How to implement this?

@HemanthV it will be easier to figure out if you share pbix file with sample data.
