Hi,
I have a matrix table containing multiple measures on each row:
These measures are added to the matrix via on Switch Measure:
I want to be able to conditionlly format each row individually, based on separate criteria for each metric. For example, Media Reach would look at the highest and lowest numbers. Opportunity Won would look at this based on a target value and FYTD Vs PFYTD % would have 3 target bands.
Is there a way to set up a conditional formatting measure that would list each measure and the way to format it for each? Or woud there be an alternative method?
I've created a parameter table to group my metrics, so they appear accessible in this table. Otherwise I would have added each metric to the matrix individually, but I'd lose the ability to show Business Unit and Division this way.
Thanks,
Mark
This would be quite complex to achieve. For instance, if you're examining the highest and lowest numbers, you may need to rank the months for that specific measure row and individually assign a color to each rank. Additionally, you would need to create another set of conditions based on whether the percentage hits which target bands.
SWITCH (
SELECTEDVALUE ( 'table'[order] ),
0, SWITCH ( [separate rank measure], 1, "green", 2, "red", 3, "blue" ),
1,
SWITCH (
TRUE (),
[FYTD % Difference] >= 0.90, "green",
[FYTD % Difference] >= 0.70, "yellow",
"red"
)
)
