I'm looking to do conditional formatting (colour coding) based on the values in each row in a matrix.
Is there a way to do that? See picture. Every row needs it's own conditional formatting based on the higest and lowest value in each row. This to see the difference between columns 1,2 and 3 colour coded with one look.
Thank you for help

Hi @Anonymous ,
You can do like this.
(Please refer to my .pbix file.)
1. Sum columns group by another column.
2. Unpivot the columns
3. Create measures.
Min_value =
CALCULATE(
MIN(Sales[Value]),
ALLEXCEPT(
Sales,
Sales[Month]
)
)Max_value =
CALCULATE(
MAX(Sales[Value]),
ALLEXCEPT(
Sales,
Sales[Month]
)
)Color_code =
IF(
SELECTEDVALUE(Sales[Value]) = [Max_value],
"Blue",
IF(
SELECTEDVALUE(Sales[Value]) = [Min_value],
"Red"
)
)

@Anonymous you cannot conditionally format row but you can make a measure that returns the color code based on the business logic and then apply the same measure for each column in the matrix using conditional formatting and choosing field value option.
