If I turn off row subtotals, it turns off the total row at the bottom, which I want to keep. How can I get rid of these subtotals? This is in a matrix.

Hello,
In the formatting, go to row subtotals, then toggle 'Per row level' to on. Then, select your Scope field from the Row level Selector and in the Rows section that is directly under it, toggle Show subtotal to off. Below is my example but the field I have is Class. The first screenshot is on, the second is off (you can also set the total (and subtotals) to appear at the top instead of bottom if you prefer):
This is the setting that goes with the first screenshot:
This goes with the second:

You're very welcome! In the Row Subtotals section of formatting, select All from Row Level, then in the Rows section, type whatever you want to appear instead of Total. For example, I changed Total to Average:

It Worked!! Thank you so much. I literally have been working on it for two hours. Now that I did that, it take away the function to be able to rename the total row at the bottom. Is that somewhere else now?
