Matrix Table Question

I have selected a few fields to display in a new table.   When I select the Table visual, all works well.    I can see Full Name, Project Name and Task Name without a problem.   When I switch from a Table to the Matrix visual, I get the same result.   However, when I move any of the fields to "Values", the data disappers.   Regardless of whatever field I move to Values.  Any ideas?

"Values"  requires some sort of aggregation - SUM,MAX, AVG, Count etc.  What is your expected outcome?
