Hi,
I havematrix in a report that it will not allow me to only have grand totals. It's very odd because I have another matrix in the report that works just fine. I even copied and pasted it and just changed the data but the issue still persists. Any one have any ideas on how to fix? I'm wondering if it isn't a Microsoft bug because you used to be able to turn it on and off based on each row and now it's all or nothing. I'm on the newest version of PBI desktop. Thanks!
Expected result:
Matrix with issue:
Both of them are set the same way for row subtotals however making any changes to this on each matrix does nothing.

Thank you! I submitted a ticket with Microsoft and spoke with someone yesterday. They are aware of the bug but the only fix right now is to use the April version and turn off the new report pane preview feature.
It's one of the many bugs in the new format pane. You can raise an issue at https://issues.powerbi.com . If you have a Pro license you can consider raising a Pro ticket at https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/pro/
