Mashup Container Error connecting to SQL server

When trying to connect to SQL server from Power BI Desktop getting a popup error photo attached for refrence.

Tried clearing the cache and editing the credentials. Also tried clearing the background data. 

And using the Latest version of Power BI as well.  Can some one help with this please?

Based on the testing, when trying to connect to SQL server from Power BI Desktop, no errors are reported and get the data normally. Have you ever successfully gotten data from SQL Server before?

Thank you so much,, This problem has been solved. I changed to run the power BI as an administrator and it worked.

Hey there!

Sometimes Power BI's internal dependencies (like the Mashup Engine) get corrupted. Uninstall Power BI Desktop completely and reinstall the latest version. 

Also, Power BI may not have the correct authentication to access the SQL Server. Try using different authentication modes:
- Windows Authentication (if the SQL Server is on the same domain).
- SQL Server Authentication (enter the username & password).
