Hello everyone,
I think it's not possible at the moment, but maybe some of you have found a solution for this case :
I need to create a map visual in PBI with two different text variables that are clearly visualized. I was hoping to have a different color for each option in one variable, and a different icon for each option in the other one. There are no quantitative variables in this case.
I've tried different solutions, including Icon Map but it doesn't seem to work.
Has anybody tried this ?
Thanks,
Antonio
Hi @Anonymous ,
I'm not clear about your requirement. Could you please share more details(like some data, screenshot and required function etc) on it? Thank you.
In addition, please review the following links. Hope they can help you.
Power BI Custom Visuals - Icon Map (pragmaticworks.com).
Best Regards
Hi @Anonymous
Thank you for your answer. I have seen those but they didn't help for this case.
Here is an example of my data :
| LOCATION | LONGITUDE | LATITUDE | TYPE OF LOCATION | TEAM |
| Paris | 2.3522219 | 48.856614 | House | Red |
| London | -0.118092 | 51.509865 | Office | Blue |
I would need to see all Locations on a map visual, while also allowing to have distinct formats for each "Type of Location" and each "Team". Ideally, each "Team" would be represented by a different color, and each "Type of Location" would be represented by a different icon. Is that possible today on Power BI ?
Hope it's more clear !
Thank you again for your help.
Bests,
Antonio
