Mapbox legends

Hi

It is my understanding that you cannot custom the Mapbox legends so I am considering creating a separate legend. However, I'm having a bit of trouble understanding how the Mapbox Legend is created. I wondered if anyone can give me any pointers?!

Attached is the map I am using and I  would like to make a custom legend that uses bands for the counts.

Hope that makes sense!

Thank you

Hi @WBscooby ,

I'd like to suggest you take a look at official document on mapbox home page:

Make a choropleth map with the Mapbox Visual for Power BI

In addition, you can also take a look at custom map of shape map:

Create Your Own Custom Map for Power BI

Shape Maps in Power BI Desktop

Did I answer your question? Mark my post as a solution!

Hi Lucien

Thank you for responding to my post. I have successfully built a map so understand the process of this. I am really just trying to understand the legend as it shows one data point per colour but my managers are not that data driven and prefer to see the legend as bands. I am planning to create a custom legend but will still need to align it with the data.

Thank you
