Map and filter context in tooltip not work

Hi,

I have a map with the population in balls divided by race, the size of each ball is determined by the population. Here are my columns in the RacialPopState table:

State or territory
Race
Population

My problem is that the balls are small and the distribution of the races is not clear and I don't want to enlarge them, so I thought of making a tooltip that would display the ball of the map with the race subdivision but larger . Here is the formula I use to display the tooltip:

CALCULATE (SUM ('RacialPopState' [Population]); RacialPopState [State or territory]; ALL ('RacialPopState' [Race]))

But the filter context is still active when I hover over the mouse pointer over the ball and it doesn't show division by race because it always filters. Who has an idea?

Thanks

@esquiveljc this what you need to do, on tooltip page turn off Keep all filters and add state/province column on the drill-down and that will do it. In the following screenshot, I turned off Keep all filters and added the Id column from my model, in your case, it will state/province column

@esquiveljc yes it will be, I would recommend not to put a legend on the map and then in tooltip use pie chart to show the distribution.

Hi @parry2k ,

Yes, it's pie chart which I use in my tooltip.  I also deactivated the legend but it does not work yet, I thought that my problem was in DAX?

Thaks

@parry2k My client want the legend in de map and use le tooltip like a zoom.

@esquiveljc this what you need to do, on tooltip page turn off Keep all filters and add state/province column on the drill-down and that will do it. In the following screenshot, I turned off Keep all filters and added the Id column from my model, in your case, it will state/province column
