Managing a Ranking Table

Hi all,

I am currently working with a table visual in which certain columns are ranked using a RankX measure. I am having difficulty adding a new field value without changing my ranking. Is there a way to lock my measure or be able to add new field values to my table without it changing my ranking?  Am I supposed to use an Allexcept function or other type of function?

This is the Rankx equation I am currently using:

Rank = RANKX(ALL('Table1'[Field1],'Table1'[Field2]),[MeasureCalculation],DESC,Dense)

Thank you for your help!! 🙂

Hi @mnll7,

You'd better share your sample table and list expected result, so that we can help you.

Thanks,
Angelia

Try this

Rank =
RANKX ( ALLSELECTED ( 'Table1' ), [MeasureCalculation], DESC, DENSE )
