I am making a report that shows where certain equipment is on a map using the map visual. However, the visual uses City, State info to mark the map. I have multiple pieces of equipment in the same place, and I was wondering if there was a way to make this obvious and show how many are in that area. For instance, I have 3 plows in Minot, ND. How do I make it obvious from the visual that it is 3 plows?
Attatched below is a snapshot of my graphic and what the data looks like.
Ideally, I would want no overlapping dots, instead having clustered dots centered around the shared location. But I am open to any help. Thanks!
Hi @Anonymous ,
By my test, we can't realize it directly, here's my workaroud:
1.We can put Count of plows in the Bubble size, then we will see the difference of different number of plows in the same location. When we hover on the bubble, it also can show the number.
2.Use the custom visual "Cluster Map", which can display the number directly but it's more of a visual than a map.

Alternatively, is there a way to just make each type a different size? like plows are size 1, blowers are size 2 etc?
Thank you, that makes sense. I am still confused on how would I implement a count of the number of plows at a location based on the sheet I attatched above. Would I have to make a new column/measurement for that and for each location/machine type?
