Make the new list slicer into a dropdown menu? Because I want the header icon of "clear selections"
So when I updated powerbi I got the 3 new slicers: Tile, Text and List slicers. BUT what happened was they removed the clear selctions header icon from the old slicer. BUT I have dashboards with Dropdown menu slicers (Like 6 of them) And I also want "clear selections" header icon. BUT the only the new slicers have that header icon. BUT none of the new slicers can be made into a dropdown menu.
SO, I am stuck.............Please help thanks!

Hi @mananmehta0104
use the old Dropdown Slicer, add a "Clear Selections" button, and assign it a Bookmark that resets the slicer. Currently, no native dropdown in the new slicers supports the Clear Selections button.

I can see the clear selection icon in the old slicer , maybe you have removed the slicer header from format visual ?

Yours seems to be an older version. That used to have it but after updating it is gone

Thank you so much that does seem to be the solution for now.
But, could you elaborate a little or point me in the direction of ho I can utilize the Bookmark feature to implement the reset functionality

You can insert a Clear all slicers button to clear all slicers. This should work if there are no hidden slicers.

That does not really help cause after I publish it online I can use the reset to default as well. I need individual slicer functionality

To implement a Reset (Clear Selections) button in Power BI using Bookmarks, first set up your slicers in their default unselected state. Then, go to the View tab, open the Bookmarks Pane, and click "Add" to create a new bookmark, renaming it to "Reset Filters". Click the three dots (⋮) next to it and uncheck "Data" if you only want to reset slicers. Next, insert a Blank Button from the Insert tab, rename it to "Reset Filters" under Button text, and enable Action in the Format Pane. Set the action Type to Bookmark and select the "Reset Filters" bookmark. Now, whenever you click this button, it will restore all slicers to their original state.

I want to reset individual slicers. Not all. If there is a way using bookmarks then do let me know OR if there is a way to make dropdown menus using the new slicers
