Hi All,
I am trying to create a simple mailto oprtion where in I need mutiple recipents in email.
I have EPR Number in the table and I have its associated emails.I want to create a mailto where on click, it should auto populate all the emails with it.
Below is the DAX I am using
Hi @Charitha_RK ,
The issue is happening because the mailto link that Power BI is generating isn't in a format that browsers or Outlook can understand. When you have multiple recipients, a valid mailto link must separate the email addresses with commas and no spaces, for example: mailto:user1@company.com,user2@company.com. In your case, the emails are being joined with a spaced semicolon (" ; "), which makes the entire URL invalid, so clicking it simply does nothing. The problem can also appear when an EPR has repeated email rows, because those duplicates get included unless you first extract only the distinct email addresses. EARLIER adds another complication because it depends on row context, which isn't always reliable when grouping multiple rows together. That's why the link works when each email is displayed as its own row (each one is a valid single-recipient mailto), but stops working when they're combined incorrectly. The overall idea is - collect all emails for the EPR, remove duplicates, and join them in the correct mailto format like mailto:user1@company.com,user2@company.com, so Power BI can treat it as a clickable, valid link.
