I noticed that I had to download a mysql driver for PowerBI Desktop in order to connect to a mysql database. If I publish a report, do the people viewing that report need the driver?
I'm thinking they don't, but wanted to see if anyone could shed light on this.
Thx,

Hi @matt_cushing,
No, report viewers do not need to install the MySQL driver as long as the report is published to the Power BI Service (online) and the data is refreshed via a gateway.
