How do I merge multiple dashboards from different owners into an existing dashboard?

What Do you mean with "different owners"? Are the dashboards shared with you?

yes it has been shared with me and the original owner. I would like to take the dashboards I created and include them as an additional tab on original owner's dashboard.

There is no direct method to merge multiple dashboards from different owners. However, a new feature that transferring ownership of created dashboards is planned, you can vote the idea in the following link. With this feature, you can consider to transfer your created dashboards to original owner in the future.
