i am trying to reduce my Dev effort 🙂 and I am looking for the below options / Features
1. Select Multiple Columns and Hide them In Report instead Single Columns
2. select multiple Columns and change its data type. ex. Orderdate,ShipDate,DueDate instead single
3.when i Hide a column in the Data Pane Its hiding it but however when i try to unhide i don't see the option. i need to refresh the view to see Tick Mark to unhide
thanks
Unfortunately, multiple column selection is not available in the data model. You can post an Idea if it does not already exist.
Much thanks
i was thinking to post this as an idea , but wanted to check if any alternative or something which i did not experience ![]()
Hi Sarr,
As smoupre mentioned, multiple column selection is unavailable in Power BI currently.
Regarding the third question, when we check the “Hide in Report View” option for a column in Data pane, the column is hidden. However, we are not able to uncheck this option to show the hidden column until refresh the page. I can reproduce this issue in my environment.
About those three questions, I already reported a feature request and feedback internally, will keep you updated once I get any updates.
If you have any question, please feel free to ask.
Best regards,
Qiuyun Yu
and i posted this in idea section as well
