Hi All,
I'm looking to create a column which shows the price difference between products of the user's choice. The products and prices in both the Core Data and Comp Data tables are the same. I'm trying to use a LOOKUPVALUE calculated column to return the result (Product 2) that the slicers provide in the Core Data table, but using FIRSTNONBLANK always returns Product 1, as it's the first product in the non-filtered table. How do I get a lookupvalue which returns the Product that the user filters for?
Thanks very much in advance.

Hi @Anonymous ,
In this case, it will be more convenient to create a measure, as follows
Core Product =
CALCULATE (
MAX ( 'Comp Data'[Comp Product] ),
FILTER (
'Comp Data',
[Year] = MAX ( 'Core Data'[Year] )
&& [Quarter] = MAX ( 'Core Data'[Quarter] )
&& [Month] = MAX ( 'Core Data'[Month] )
&& [Day] = MAX ( 'Core Data'[Day] )
&& [ST] = MAX ( 'Core Data'[ST] )
)
)
Core Price =
CALCULATE (
SUM ( 'Comp Data'[Price($/Unit)] ),
FILTER (
'Comp Data',
[Year] = MAX ( 'Core Data'[Year] )
&& [Quarter] = MAX ( 'Core Data'[Quarter] )
&& [Month] = MAX ( 'Core Data'[Month] )
&& [Day] = MAX ( 'Core Data'[Day] )
&& [ST] = MAX ( 'Core Data'[ST] )
&& [Comp Product] = SELECTEDVALUE ( 'Comp Data'[Comp Product] )
)
)
If you mean to filter by the slicer, please let me know and I will improve.
