Load web data

I am taking an online course from Lynda on Power BI Desktop

One of the exercises is to load web data using the following URL:

http://moneycentral.msn.com/investor/external/excel/quotes.asp?symbol=$INDU,$COMP,$TRAN,$UTIL,$COMPX...

This does not work and later exercises depend on this data.  I suspect something has changed at msn.com but I am a newby and have no idea.  If anyone has run into this and knows the answer I would appreciate it.

HI @maynardk,

Power bi can't get current web page data from url, it not support interaction with page elements and script functions.

For your scenario, you need to find out the source api of this web site and try to use web connect to get data from that api with specific parameters.
