Live Report Using Push Dataset

Hi,

I need to Create a Live Dashboard, I have gone through the tutorials and I find Push Dataset as a suitable noe for my requirement.

Is there any sample or tutorial for trying it out, My source could be from (SQL server or URL or anyother datasource). It would be great if someone can help me with the Understanding and example.

Is there any way to connect to Azure or on-premise SQL tables and fetch record from those tables and create a Dataset in Power BI

by using Push Datasets concept.
