Live Connection to Excel from PowerBi desktop

Good day

I'm trying to make changes to my Excel based on the analysis in my PowerBi. 

But it seems like I have to save and close Excel every time I want to refresh my PowerBi. 

I'm using PowerBi desktop and the Excel file is saved on my PC.

Is there any way  to work around this?

@bvanderwatt , From excel only an import mode connection, is possible. means you have refresh the data to get new data

Sure, but do I need to close Excel each time in order to update the PowerBi?
