Linking data containing 2 diffrent years

Hello Everyone 
so i have 2 lists of Key People for 2 years each list contain the employee code and the year, i need to link those lists to the fact table which contains the full list of employees and their termination date ,and then i want to show this visual :

 And only show the number of Termination for the key people for that exact year 
is there any possibility to do it ?

That Blog really helped me in the begging of my project but now the case is different, let me try to explain:

so i have the same fact table as the blog which contain (EMPLOYEE ID , START DATE , TERMINATION DATE)
and in the other hand i have 2 lists that looks like this :

 the list of Key people change every year so is it possible to help me with a solution that make me able to show this visual :

where it show the number of terminations by month while taking in consideration the year column in the KP list
