Link to a filter on another page by selecting on from a table item...

Hi

On one page I have a table with a list of names.  Is it possible that when I click on a name, I am redirected to another page and the filter for this other page to be updated with the name of the person I have selected, in order to see the visuals for that person.

Hopefully this makes sense.

Many thanks

James

Hi,
you shall create a  drill through page. Drag the column with the list names into a Drill through Fields. Then when you come back to your first page, from the Table visual or any visual that contains the names right click and choose an option Drill through, it will take you to the second page filtered to the name you chose.

Yes! this is a drill through feature.

Create a new page and put your "name" column in the drill through option.

When you right click on a name on the other page, this page will be filtered by that name.

Hi, is it possible to do this without drillthrough?

I am looking for the same feature. Have you found an answer?

Hi @Anonymous , I didn't have any luck unfortunately.  The best I could do was to have a page open in a separate tab, which wasn't really an appropriate solution for me.  Hopefully MS start to implement the features we want someday 🙂

Cheers,

Ben.
