Lines in column chart staggered when using colour saturation

I am displaying some sales data at an individual vs branch level.

For some reason, when I am looking at the individual level and I add the field "branch" as they key, the bars show up all strange looking and are staggered in a strange pattern.

When I remove branch as the legend it looks fine but doesn't then give me the different colours I need (see before and after photo below)
Any ideas?

Which visual are you using? If you are using Line and clustered column chart, please change to Line and stacked column chart.
