Line with two colors

I am trying to create a line graph that shows historical and forecasted data, and I want the color for the forecasted data to be lighter. I have created a new column to have it added as legend:

 

Quarter Color = if(Annual[Quarter]<DATE(2018,4,1),"Inflation","Inflation forecast")

 

But after doing that, the line is not continuous anymore and it looks like this:
