HI ALL,
Here is the Question i am facing issue with Line chart visual .
We have Date (Year , Month , Day) in X axis , single value in Y axis (value) and 2 values (% Values) in Secondary Axis
The Issue is we have value in Y axis and percentage vaues in Secondary axis but here the Y axis value should always displays on 100% of Secondary Axis.
Example :
if we have Y Axis value as 100 or 200 or 500 or some value it has to show always equal line on 100% of Secondary Axis if secondary axis percentage value exist or not it does not matter but the line should be equal to 100% of secondary axis.
if Secondary axis percentage is 30% or 40% or 90% or some other percentage greater than or less than 100% the Y Axis line should display on 100% of Secondary Line
i am facing this issue with Qlik report to PBI Migration report.
In Qlik they are using Sum(Total [value])
I had tried with constant line or max line or min line and min value max value in format pane but it does not worked for me.
Please let me know if any one can help me out on this issue as in Qlik Report it is displaying single line value on 100% of secondary axis with doing any other work around.
Pic for Example: How i am getting is in Blue Line (100 value) and how i need is Green Line Pic for example how i am getting and how i need

If something is always at the same value - what's the point of showing that in a chart?
Hi @lbendlin
As per the Clients requirement and Previous Qlik Dashboard we have display same value for all dates in the month that should be equal to 100% of Secondary Axis.
Could you please elet me know if that could be possible ??
Thanks
Sandeep
You can use the "constant line" feature of the line chart.
Hi @lbendlin ,
For each month the value might be different it is not single value to be fix and the constant line does not work out based on this requirement .
if we select the date from the Date slicer the value mightbe change so Constant line does not work to fix at 100% of secondary axis.
Is this is the Drawback feature?? can we keep this as an Idea ??
Thanks
Sandeep
I don't understand the business value of your request. Can you maybe clarify that?
Hi @lbendlin
The Line of the Y- Axis is Sales and that sales line should be always needs to display at the level of 100% of Secondary Axis. For Every month value ofY-axis might be change based on the month selection in slicer.
Example:
If we select September in slicer and we have Y Axis value as 150 for September then line Y Axis should be display always at 100% mark of Secondary Axis
If we select October in slicer and we have Y Axis value as 200 for October then line Y Axis should be display always at 100% mark of Secondary Axis
if we select Year 2022 in Slicer and we have Y Axis value as 15000 for Year 2022 then also the line of Y Axis should be at 100% level of Secondary Axis
Hope understood the requirement. Let me know anything you need for clarification.
Thanks
Sandeep
Your chart is accurately reflecting your source data.
What column should the green line be based on?
With respect to your reply i am @sandeepavula19 replying you
It is Sales Column Sould be the Green line...Sales Column we need to display always at 100% of Secondary Axis
Sales Column we have single value for entier month so for getting all days we are creating one measure Calculate(sum(sales),DatesYTD(date(date).Date)) by using this Dax formula we will get single value to all dates (for formula you can refer Pbix File )
So here we are using Sales coulmn as greenline (for clarity i kept as Greenline )as 100% line that should be equal to Secondary axis 100%.
Please Let me know if you have any questions
Thanks
Sandeep
