Hi Team,
The below is the sample snip of the report which i am creating.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The theme is adventure park cards issued at these parks
--> The ceo would be intrested in seeing total transactions, current year, last year, variances as shown in the cards.
--> Now suppose say if the variance is decreasing: suppose on year 2025 the ceo might need to see hey which quater and which month for the year 2025 it is decreasing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now I need to explore how to map slicers to the legend (Years) of the line chart.
-----------------------
Suppose Ceo selects 2025 on the slicer :2025 qtr with month should be displayed
suppose Ceo selects 2024 and 2025 on the slicer both the years: qtr with month should be diosplayed
Suppose Ceo does not select anything on the slicer it should be as last 2 years: qtr with month
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
I need some variations in the line chart
--> variation 1
--> variation 2
--> Vraiation3
-----------------------------------
Can someone help me build some variations in Line chart for specifically this use case?
I tried Building but confused and Stuck.
-----------------------------------------
I have attached the pbix file in the below link.

Please refer page: Line chart variations in the above pbix file after download.
------------------------------------------------------
Thanks,
ARJUN
Solved! Go to Solution.
1. Don't use Auto Date/Time
2. Don't use CALENDARAUTO
3. Think of the seasonality of your data
You already had a meaningful chart, use it.
