Hey guys,
I am experiencing an issue with the line + clustered column chart visualization.
I am working in project management and want to track the planned availability (regular working hours per month - absence => "allocation") vs. the actual time bookings of my departments over time.
I think a line + clustered column chart visualization would work best for that. I wanted to portray all my departments as a column series, while the individual months are on the shared axis. The column values should be the allocations/availability, while the line values should be the actual bookings.
However, the line values are not shown as individual data points for every individual department in the respective month, but as a sum for all departments in the respective month:
Ideally I would like to see something like that (edited in Paint):
Is there any possibility to do that? Also I would be open to other ideas/visualizations as long as it allows me to compare the two values for all my departments over at least 2 months.
Thanks and kind regards
Marcel
@marcel97 , It is not possible as of now to have line split by legend.
Instead of legend, Add two on axis, Expand using Square reverse y icon. Switch of concatenating label , Sort on-axis column and then try to add line
Hey @amitchandak , thanks a lot for your response! Unfortunately I cannot really keep track of the steps that you recommended. Would you mind providing more detailed instructions?
Also I am quite flexible regarding the visualization type. It is important to me to keep track of deltas between the allocations and actuals on the level of the individual teams in more than one month at once.
Kind regards
Marcel
